NYC Travel Guide For Budding Travelers

NYC Travel Guide For Budding Travelers

People call NYC “The City Of Dreams” because here, you can materialize anything you want! However, unless you make the right effort and know the insider facts, you can’t “Make” the most out of your travel in NYC. Proper planning can help you get the most out of your NYC tour. In this article, you will find actionable tips that can help you plan your trip to NYC and enjoy every moment there, keep reading!

When To Visit

New York is one of the liveliest cities in the world. Arriving here in any season is full of outstanding fun and memories. That’s why the choice of season is yours to make. Ask yourself whether you like to travel in summer or winter, spring or fall, and decide accordingly. The Winter season is perfect for the ones who love to witness public gatherings and enjoy the spirits of Holidays and the New Year. Deep winter is perfect for budget travelers. Spring season is outstanding for blending with New Yorkers and shopping outside. While Summer is full of free events and public gatherings at the beaches – it’s fun all year round!

Reaching To NYC

Deciding on how to get to NYC depends on where you are coming from. You can arrive via car, bus, or train if you arrive here from within the US. Hoping in your car and driving to NYC is a compelling option, but not the most comfortable one. Besides the fact that you like traveling in cars or not, you should know that parking is difficult and costly in NYC. Arriving in NYC via train is fairly easy, and you will surely enjoy getting off your train at Penn Station. The major airports in NYC are  John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia International Airport, and Newark Liberty International Airport. So you decide in which airport you should land after gathering some info.

Your Hotel

Whoa, so you have decided how you will arrive in New York, but where will you stay? Finding hotels in New York is not difficult at all. The choice comes down to how much you are willing to spend. If you want to stay in the center of the city, Midtown Manhattan should be your top priority. But keep in mind that the hotels are very expensive in the Midtown Manhattan area. But some of the best staying options are in the Brooklyn area, like the Condor Hotel, where you can enjoy the street vibes.

Moving Through The City

If you are not on a tight budget, you might think getting through the city by renting a car is the best idea. However, putting high rent and parking fees aside, the horrendous traffic in New York might force you to repent over your decision. Choosing public transportation is the best thing you can do to move in style through the city. Buses and subways are both fun and affordable and give you insight into how the locals roll. But, if you don’t find it fun to travel alone in the subway at midnight, taking a cab is a good option for you. Make sure you wake up early in the morning so you can enjoy the sights without facing any crowds.

The Food Choices

Oh boy, there is no shortage of good foods in NYC! Any food that you can think of is available here made by skilled and exciting cooks. Eating outside might not be the most affordable option in New York, but it allows you to eat the best food and that too with locals and fellow travelers. Brunches, pizzas, hot dogs, bagels, continental food, and almost any food available on earth; pick whatever and whenever you like!

Places You Should Visit

NYC is famous for its outstanding skyscrapers, but if you are not a fan of huge buildings, there is still a huge list of places for you to visit. There’s fun for everyone, whether you are visiting with family or friends or with your fiance. Checking in art galleries, visiting various museums and monuments, getting entertained with street art, diving into history, or exploring the wonders of science, everything is available if you make the right plan. Oh, and don’t forget about boat rides and ferries!
