Which Countries Should Students Avoid

Which Countries Should Students Avoid

Students are usually easy-going individuals who are fond of traveling to remote and unusual places. However, there are some countries that are not safe for even the most adventurous travelers and might have tons of hidden dangers for bright minds. In this post, you will find a list of countries we don’t recommend visiting in the near future.

How to Arrange a Successful Travel

The entire process of preparing for the journey can be divided into two steps. The first one is about completing all your academic assignments. You need to make sure your college or university performance is okay before having a trip. But who can write an essay for me if I don’t have enough time? This is one of the burning questions for many students. The good news is that you can get professional essay help and complete all your assignments right when you need it. It is easy to pay for essays online and get more time to prepare for an amazing journey.

The second step is to know more about the country you would like to visit. Make sure it is safe and allows you to have a comfortable stay. Avoid visiting the regions with military conflicts or any other dangerous areas. War is not a game – it is better to stay away from the hot regions. Below you will find a list of countries all students should avoid.

Afghanistan

Earlier, the territory of this country was controlled by U.S. soldiers. Although it was dangerous a couple of years ago, some tourists still had a chance to visit it. However, now the country is plunged into chaos. The American soldiers are returning home, leaving the cities and villages under the control of the Taliban. The banks, financial institutions, and most businesses are closed in the country. Moreover, there are just a few embassies that are still working in Afghanistan (the embassy of the United States is currently closed).

If you somehow reach the country, you will hardly have a chance to come back home. The country’s main airport in Kabul is currently under the control of illegal military formations. Thousands of people are trying to leave the country and immigrate to neighboring countries. The situation is extremely dangerous, making Afghanistan the worst place in the world you can visit.

North Korea

Visiting North Korea is a cherished dream for many modern students. However, this is surely not the best place you can travel to. The reason is that the political situation and regime in the country have nothing in common with a free democratic society. Actually, all the tourists are at risk of going to prison for any minor offense. For example, one of the American learners who visited the country tried to take a poster with the country’s leader as a souvenir when leaving North Korea (this is prohibited by the country’s current laws). The student was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor. He has been prisoned for more than 17 months and died in jail. Anyway, it is better to avoid traveling to North Korea neither alone nor in groups. It is highly recommended to choose a destination where democratic values are supported by the government.

Syria

Syria is another country with an unstable political and economic situation. The country is a territory of armed conflict with international soldiers engaged. There are no tourist places open for visits. Moreover, it is extremely dangerous to visit the country due to the risks of serious injuries and even death. Even the safest country’s cities might be attacked, so you will not have an opportunity to leave the unsafe territory in a fast and easy way. If you are interested in the countries located in this region, it is much better to come to Turkey, one of the most brilliant destinations.

Iraq and Iran

These are countries where wars, suicide bombings, and terrorist attacks have become a common thing. Americans and the citizens of other countries should avoid visiting these territories and look for safer places to visit in the area. According to recent data,  the arrest and detention of U.S. citizens is a frequent occurrence in both Iran and Iraq. If you still want to visit one of the Muslim countries, it will be a good idea to buy a flight to Qatar or the United Arab Emirates, the modern developed countries that remain safe and comfortable for foreign travelers.

The list of dangerous countries that don’t welcome travelers also includes Libya, Yemen, Somalia, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Part of the Congo (DRC), Mali, some Pakistan territories, and part of Egypt. These are the territories of war conflicts, terrorism, extreme military conditions, and limited rights of the foreigners. There are dozens of beautiful and adventurous places in the world that are safe and easy to reach.
