Today is the last day to get 100% transfer bonus from Delta. This means all you need to do is transfer from your account to a friend of companions and they will receive double the miles.
There is a $30 transaction fee no matter how many miles you transfer so the cost per mile goes down the more you transfer. 30,000 miles are the max permitted per transfer. They will instantly show up in your recipients SkyMiles account with 60,000 miles. You can of course make another transfer however the maximum transfer does cost $330 every time.
So this is really only in your best interest if you need to book an international reward ticket. You will save on those by making the transfer even with the high fees. It is a lot cheaper than buying miles and cheaper than the full price airfare. If you just need another 10k to get business elite on a long flight then it may also be in your interest.
