Best Orlando Budget Hotels

written by Clint Johnston
Best Orlando Budget Hotels

Orlando, Florida is home to some of the most popular theme parks in the country. With Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, there is no shortage of activities to keep couples and families entertained for hours. There are dozens of hotels to call home during your stay in Orlando,  but the hotels that won’t break your budget are the most attractive. Save your money for the sightseeing venues, and book a room at one of these budget hotels.

Budget Hotels Orlando

Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando

Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando offers a great price in an area less than a mile from Universal Studios. This budget-friendly extended-stay hotel offers free Wi-Fi and is only a drive of a few minutes to Wet ‘n Wild, a great place to cool off from the hot Florida sun. Rooms are simple, but the outdoor pool and fitness center make it an ideal base in the Orlando area from which to explore everything the region has to offer.

Hilton Garden Inn

Hilton Garden Inn is a budget-friendly hotel on International Drive North in Orlando. The rooms feature refrigerators and microwaves, which can help you cut costs on simple dining and snacks during your stay. The pool-side bar is a great place to relax after a full day at the theme parks. Free Wi-Fi and a convenient location make this a great place to call home.

Fairfield Inn & Suites International Drive/Convention Center

Fairfield Inn & Suites International Drive/Convention Center, near Universal Studios, won’t bust the vacation budget. There is free parking on site, but the complimentary theme park shuttle will make life even easier if you want to avoid driving to the parks. Other amenities and services are free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, and a hotel concierge offering tours and ticket help.

Comfort Suites Downtown

Comfort Suites has a central location in downtown Orlando, making it the ideal place to stay for your Florida vacation. The eco-friendly rooms feature air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Former guests have said that the downtown neighborhood, within walking distance to many of Orlando’s attractions, makes the property a convenient place to stay.

Hyatt Place Orlando/Universal

Hyatt Place Orlando/Universal offers a lot for visitors with a modest budget. The guest room rates are higher than at the other budget hotels in the area, but it is worth the extra cost for those looking to get little more out of their hotel. Walt Disney World and Universal Studios are a 20-minute drive from the property. You need a car to get to most of Orlando’s best attractions, such as Kennedy Space Center. Hotel amenities include a business center, free Wi-Fi, heated indoor pool, and fitness center.

Picking the Best Budget Hotel

Budget hotels in Orlando are plentiful, with the property’s location a primary consideration. A car is necessary if you plan to make day trips to the beach, Kennedy Space Center, or the coast. Save money on your Orlando vacation by booking an economical hotel, and have more money to spend at the theme parks, and for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing outside the parks.
