All the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas can easily lead anyone to believe they must be a high-roller to enjoy the city. However, that is simply not the case. Las Vegas has a lot of fantastic free attractions that can be enjoyed by anyone who doesn’t like to break the bank. I am not a gambler, but I do enjoy online gaming and free bingo at bingo.williamhill.com from time to time. When I travel to Las Vegas I like to enjoy the sites, the food, and the atmosphere. These are my top 5 favorite free things to do in Las Vegas.
Watch the Bellagio Fountains
Everyone knows these fountains but even if you have seen them a dozen times they are always a site to see. Shows are typically every half hour in the afternoon and every 15 minutes in the evening.
Explore Freemont Street
The bright lights and casinos of new Vegas are amazing but the heart of Las Vegas lies downtown. Here you will find signs of the good old days in Vegas. Walk down Fremont Street to experience old Las Vegas. The Fremont Street Experience offers free nightly shows with 12.5 million lights and 550,000 watts of amazing sound at VivaVision.
Drink the Night Away
You might be surprised to learn you can drink for free in more places than just the casinos. Each Thursday evening Rock ‘N Roll Wine holds free tastings for you to enjoy. Just be sure to sign up in advance and enjoy some wine!
Vom Fass also offers free tastings at any time from their selection of wines and spirits. Head over to Vom Fass to learn more about their extensive selection from around the world and sample them next time you are in Vegas.
Watch the Volcano at the Mirage
Every casino needs to offer a little extra incentive to get you to stop by and the Mirage is no different. Head to the Mirage to watch the volcano explode.
Hike the Red Rock Canyons
Need a break from the city lights? Head to the Red Rocks Canyons for a hike. The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is a beautiful area to enjoy the wonders of nature and get away from the craziness of Las Vegas for the day.
Vegas on a Budget
Vegas can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be but the key is to find a balance. Taking in the free attractions of Vegas is a great way to see some amazing sites, get away from the city for a day all while not breaking the bank.
