Kremlin Palace

The Kremlin is probably the first association of most tourists when someone mentions Moscow. It has been the most important building for political life in Russia for centuries. The construction of the building was finished in 1495 by the ruling Rurik family, and the object has been in use from that period of time.

Currently, it is the most important instruction in the country. The main residence of the Russian president is located inside, so the national and international politics have been managed from that place.

The Kremlin Palace is, however, very big and a part of the building serves as a museum too. The authorities have partially opened the object because of the great interest it attracts in the entire world. It is a top destination that millions of travelers visit each year.

The Kremlin Palace is in the city’s center, so it is not easy to miss it, even if you want to do so. Moscow is home to many international airports, so the popularity of the object is supported through its excellent geographical position.

Red Square and St. Basil’s Cathedral

Red Square, St. Basil’s Cathedral, and many other important objects are also located in the nearby area. That’s what makes this location increasingly amazing. You have a chance to visit many great attractions at once. They are all close to each other, so you do not need to travel from one corner of the city to another one. Red Square has been a place of different important historical events, and it is one of the favorite locations for walking. A lot of free space is available, and you can see different historically important objects and monuments in the nearby area from that point.

St. Basil’s Cathedral is the nearest and one of the most important ones. The building was finished and opened in 1561, and it has served the purpose as the most significant Christian church in the city from that moment.

St. Basil’s Cathedral has a very interesting and unique shape. The object is very large and the cupolas are pretty unusual, comparing many other churches in Europe. The Cathedral belongs to the Russian Orthodox Church, which is the main and official national religion.

It is definitely a great thing to take a photo in front of that object. That’s exactly what many tourists on Red Square do. Such memories will look amazing in your family album, and no one wants to miss such an opportunity.

Bolshoi Theatre

The construction of the building was finished in 1824, but the object has faced several big reconstructions from that time.

Bolshoi Theater is, therefore, still in an excellent change while the initial architecture style has remained unchanged. The object is surrounded by a beautiful garden so it is an ideal place for achieving an amazing tourist experience.

Tretyakov Gallery
